Mindfulness helps children:
When children are running around at play and enjoying physical activities, they may be more open to learning new social and emotional skills.
Children who practice mindfulness while learning sports and having fun will be preparing themselves to handle a spectrum of different challenges – on and off the field.
Sporting Mindfulness allows children to become aware of personal thoughts, feelings, emotions and encourages children to focus on personal values or processes of sport related skills which help develop coping strategies that are transferrable into other settings.
Letting children express themselves in a safe & secure sporting environment is at the heart of what we do. We also offer 121 sessions individually tailored to children with SEND & EHCPs.
Incorporating School Values is something I am passionate about at KickStart Coaching I use the power of physical activity to develop the holistic child.
So I felt that developing a new concept combining both PE and PSHE was the natural next step for us.
Applying Values is aimed at EYFS through to year 6, focusing on six values
and applying them to everyday life as well as to sport.
